Attending court can be challenging and distressing, especially if it is your first time. CRC’s trained volunteers provide information on court processes, where to seek advice, and emotional support to people attending local courts across NSW. Legal advice is not provided in this role.

Programs may include face to face activities such as Activity days, Camps, and ‘Connect’ sessions (online). The role involves tailoring lessons to suit each student’s abilities, instilling safe driving habits, emphasising the importance of defensive driving, hazard perception, & accident prevention, providing feedback and maintaining records of progress, lessons and logbook hours.

Assist with the operation of the Book Trolley at our Centre. This role involves processing donated books and magazines, including screening suitable books and magazines for content. You will organise and maintain the Volunteer Library, organise and transport the book trolley, offer books and magazines to consumers, their carers, and families in our Centre and provide general support and/or conversation to involve them in positive connections.

We are seeking volunteers to support the spiritual and emotional needs of elderly people living in an aged care home. As a pastoral care volunteer, you’ll be actively involved with a local Christian church. You’ll supplement and complement the work of our Residential Pastoral Care Coordinator and under their direction, you may support people to meet their spiritual needs, support people and families in times of crisis and nurture spiritual development.

You will assist our bus driver with bus run including assisting clients with boarding and exiting the bus, securing seat belts, and navigation into the Centre. You may also help with meals, including preparing and serving food & drinks. The role also assists with activities e.g. crafts, cooking, exercises, bingo and card games, providing a great opportunity to make conversation with clients. General cleaning duties are also required.

You'll help with tea and coffee making, and serving of meals. Some activities are off-site so having your own vehicle to get there would be helpful. Current National Criminal Check required.
