We want to know whether undertaking befriending with older people living in residential aged care helps reduce anxiety and decreases their loneliness. As a volunteer you will be required to visit with an elderly resident once a week for a period of four months. You will undergo a training session prior to beginning the befriending visits and will be provided with support throughout the program. Upon completion of the program you will be asked some questions regarding your experience.
