We have a large suite of programs to offer the public. We are expanding into the City of Knox from Break 40 Cafe at 40/1880 Ferntree Gully Rd. We need local volunteers to assist us to recruit participants to our programs and to help cement these programs as regular fixtures for the local community. These are all groups with a therapeutic angle (eg men's & women's support groups, artistic expression opportunity groups like open mic nights, kids breakfast club or after-school safe spaces.
for EdConnect Australia (VIC & NSW) - Education & Training
Have you ever wished you had a mentor, an extra adult to talk to when you were growing up? Then become a mentor, who spends an hour a week being a positive role model, listening and doing activities with a student for 1 hour each week during school hours during the school year. EdConnect Australia are seeking volunteers with general life skills to help young people in secondary schools who are at risk of disengaging in education.

Do you want to make a real, practical difference, supporting people who are facing many challenges? Volunteering in this role will enable more families of Kids First to access our therapeutic services safely and affordably, and in a supportive and comfortable environment. Lots of training and support will be offered in this important NEW volunteer program!
