We are looking for a support person for our Inclusive Communities Program. You will be assisting tutors and participants within our wide range of activities. The dance group is a not for profit volunteer organization running live and online weekly dance for people with intellectual disabilities.

We have a wide range of activities that our participants can engage in and each activity is in need of volunteers to assist our staff and support workers.

You'll be supporting a person with a disability to connect with the community and engage in activities and groups that align with their interests, skills and/or abilities. The support volunteers provide is flexible based on their capacity and discussed prior to connection. We ask that volunteers can commit to volunteer for 12 months or longer.

Volunteer with people with Down syndrome in a fun exercise program FitSkills FitSkills is an evidence-based physical activity program for people with Down syndrome. In this program the person with Down syndrome will be matched with a volunteer partner. Together they will exercise at their local gym, fitness centre or health club. The program runs for 10 weeks per term and participants go to the gym together once a week followed by a meal with other participants and volunteers.
