At the Fair Trade and Gift Shop we are dedicated to creating a sustainable future by championing the principles of fair trade and promoting the circular economy. Our Fair Trade and Gift Shop is a hub for ethically sourced and environmentally conscious products. We're on a mission to reduce waste and empower communities through conscious consumer choices.

As you may imagine the lock down was a lonely time, so we have created some new volunteer roles to help reduce social isolation and help the elderly who live independently to reconnect back into the community.

This role has a focus on creating innovative digital experiences, incorporating visual and interaction design to help deliver an exceptional experience and work on existing and new features, and the evolution of our web, app and other company wide visual assets. Working closely with architects, front-end developers and back-end developers, leveraging your knowledge and experience to design solutions which meet the needs of our end users.

Can you help to heat up meals, serve meals or do dishes? Chat with guests and share a meal with them. Our guests are isolated or financially disadvantaged people who need some extra support with meals and being with community.

We are on the search for Creative Mentors to participate in our 2024 Program! You will have the opportunity to work with young individuals (aged 9 - 13) and assist them in building more confidence and self esteem, achieve goals and be a positive role model. Not to mention help them create an awesome artistic piece to be exhibited at the completion of the program!
