Diabetes Victoria is holding a diabetes education event for the Vietnamese community on May 28, and looking for Vietnamese speaking volunteers to provide in-language support to attendees. We have 4 volunteer roles available. Responsibilities include assisting with promotion prior to the event, set-up/ pack-down of the event, supporting attendees on the day, and ensuring the event goes smoothly.

As the Events Coordinator for Refugee Week, you will lead the planning and execution of a series of events featuring speakers, panel discussions, and performances aimed at raising awareness and celebrating the contributions of refugees to society. Your role will involve coordinating logistics, managing program development, and ensuring seamless event operations. The Event will be held in Monash City Council Area VIC 3148 on Saturday 22 June 2024

Mock interviews is an opportunity for Primary and Secondary school students to connect with working adult volunteers, helping students to practice and build interview techniques which are crucial to securing employment. Are you passionate about cats 😺? Would you like to be a part of a small (but enthusiastic!) cat rescue? Could you commit to a few hours every now and then or just a few hours as a once off to help us with our fundraising strategy?

Down Syndrome Queensland (DSQ) is organising for our young adults with Down syndrome to attend our Challenge Weekend Camps throughout the year and require volunteers to assist us with this event. There are multiple opportunities throughout the year: we will require the volunteers to be available from 3pm Friday to approximately 12pm Sunday. Dates range however camps are usually held in March and November.
