Community fundraising at shopping centres involves collecting donations while sitting at one place, you may be required to use an Eftpos machine. Intersection collecting involves engaging with motorists at intersections encouraging them to donate, you must have some level of fitness as there is lots of walking involved.

No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like. You can volunteer as a marshal, timekeeper, photographer or try your hand at scanning barcodes and handing out tokens…..to name a few of the roles we have available.

Groups meet monthly to pick up litter from local beaches, streets or parks and meet like-minded people who are passionate about preserving our environment, wildlife, marine life & ecosystems. The groups log their data in the LitterStopper app, which feeds into the DEECA LitterWatch database. We advocate for changes to reduce litter, raise awareness & support the government in tackling issues.
