Get2Know is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Volunteer Support Coordinator who is able to use their understanding of the disability sector to make a real difference in the lives of NDIS participants. The right candidate will be highly compassionate and caring, be able to think outside the box, and possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills used to speak to our internal and external stakeholders.

Merri Mates is a one-on-one social outreach program that supports people living with mild to moderate disabilities, 18-65 years old. It creates opportunity for people with disabilities to create social connections whilst exploring interests, encourages independence, and strengthens confidence within their local community. Volunteer with people with Down syndrome in a fun exercise program FitSkills FitSkills is an evidence-based physical activity program for people with Down syndrome. In this program the person with Down syndrome will be matched with a volunteer partner. Together they will exercise at their local gym, fitness centre or health club. The program runs for 10 weeks per term and participants go to the gym together once a week followed by a meal with other participants and volunteers.

Brainwave supports 1,400 children with brain illnesses and illnesses and their families across Australia to cope, adapt and thrive. As well as information and advice, therapy and equipment, we provide family activities to enable families to get out of their home and meet other families. Shows and events provide free tickets and we are seeking a volunteer to help us apply for these charity tickets to enable families supported by us to attend.
