Lifeline Western Melbourne are looking for volunteers who are good listeners, empathetic, compassionate, and committed to supporting others to take calls from people who are experiencing a crisis.

The Orygen Assist program provides essential items including non-perishable foods, clothing, and hygiene products to young people & their families. This position supports our volunteer-run service by completing deliveries of online clinician orders.

This volunteer role is in-person at our Parkville site with flexible days/ times (Between Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm). Tasks include completing Orygen Assist deliveries as required across our sites in the Northwest region of Melbourne and pick up & delivery of stock orders from our charity partners as needed (e.g. Foodbank & Pinchapoo).

Annually MRSPAG hosts a Walk event on World Suicide Prevention Day in September, this is an opportunity to remember those loved and lost to suicide and as a beacon of hope to those who live with mental illness and suicidal thinking.
