The Melbourne Documentary Film Festival is currently seeking volunteers to assist with the running of our Festival and Masterclasses from 17th July 2024 to 31st July 2024 The festival will take place at Cinema Nova. The Melbourne Doc Fest each year curates world class features direct from some of the hottest most prestigious documentary film festivals in the world.

The Family Drug Helpline provides information, support and referrals to people who have someone in their life using alcohol or other drugs. The helpline is staffed by volunteers. THIS IS A PEER SUPORT ROLE, filled by people who have personal experience of being impacted by someone’s substance use. This lived experience is the key selection criteria.

Be the first contact Visitors and Guests meet at the Museum. Answer the Telephone, transfer calls, answer enquiries about the museum. Training will be provided. Responsible for the sale of CDs, stock and payments. Requirements are: Computer literate in Microsoft Office Tools, Salesforce experience (or equivalent) an advantage. Experience in customer service is a priority.

The Sound Mentoring Program provides music mentorship to at-risk young people, helping them to achieve their potential as artists and human beings. Come and join us as mentor! We will provide you with training in mentorship and team you up with a mentee based on your existing skillset. Music mentoring is hugely fulfilling journey that can transform not just your life, but the life of a young person in need of confidence, positive role models and an outlet for their creativity.

That is where A Sound Life comes in - we do all the legwork to make it easy for you to simply turn up and perform your music either live over Zoom or directly to patients by their bedside in hospitals.
