Don't throw it, repair it! Repair Cafes are a global movement aimed at reducing waste, sharing skills and building community. The Eastside Repair Café launched recently on Hobart’s sunny eastern shore, and is held on the last Saturday of each month. We need more volunteers to help us deliver this wonderful community initiative, doing a range of roles including fixing things, sewing things and generally helping with things! Are you passionate about cats 😺? Would you like to be a part of a small (but enthusiastic!) cat rescue? Could you commit to a few hours every now and then or just a few hours as a once off to help us with our fundraising strategy?

EWB Australia is conducting its first group facilitation training underpinned by Groupwork Centre's Model of Collaborative Practice. To boost our ability to process, retain, and recall information, we would love to bring in a Visual Note-Taker/Graphic Recorder to capture the gold nuggets in every session and our learnings as a group. Some of our staff based in Asia-Pacific will be joining us, so this training will be held online.
