MDFA's Support Groups provide a safe and welcoming space for people living with aged-related macular degeneration to share their stories and ask questions of their peers. The Facilitator role is well suited to someone with good communications skills and confidence in public speaking. Ideally you will have experience facilitating a support group and/or demonstrate the ability to lead a balanced discussion. Personal experience with macular disease is desirable, not necessary.

We are looking for beauty demonstrators who are comfortable presenting to a small group of participants to help our participants face their cancer diagnosis with confidence. Our volunteers present skincare, makeup and head-wear workshops in Darwin, NT. If you are comfortable presenting to our participants and love to help others, we need you! Look Good Feel Better is a free national community service program run by the Cancer Patients Foundation.
