The Register of Appropriate Persons (RASP) provides support to young people who are required to be interviewed by police. The objective is to support these young people at times when another responsible adult is unavailable. The RASP volunteer presence helps young people feel confident that their rights will be respected, they have support to make conscious & informed decisions about how they interact with police during interviews, custody or charging processes and are treated fairly.

We have a lovely older lady living in the Northern suburbs who is looking for a friend. She is a talented musician and enjoys playing cards and talking about travel. The Aged Care Volunteer is matched with a socially or culturally isolated resident in the community or in an aged care facility. Visits are minimum of 1 hour a fortnight. The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is across the NT - in Darwin, Nhulunbuy, Katherine, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs.
