After an informative identification session we will head out to targeted breeding sites including Lee Point, East Point, Botanical Gardens and Golflinks to collect Cane Toads ready for humane disposal. Fogg Dam provides an important food source and habitat to over 200 local and migratory bird species. Conservation Volunteers have been collecting baseline data from this lagoon of a set species list for almost two years.

    Darwin has a variety of unique and beautiful beaches. A new location will be surveyed each week for Marine Debris which is then sorted and catalogued on the day, adding to a national database.     Like to travel???? We need volunteers to travel with a client e.g., via plane/bus/car to/from community to/from a regional centre such as Katherine or Darwin. The volunteer assists the client accessing aircraft etc and provides personal care support for the duration of the trip. Fares are paid for by the MJD Foundation as well as travel per diem for any overnight stay required.
