Lifeline Canberra exists to support people in crisis and save the lives of those experiencing thoughts of suicide. Our Telephone Crisis Support Volunteers are essential in making a difference in the lives of Canberrans who call 13 11 14.

ACT Wildlife rehabilitates injured, sick and orphaned native animals to return them to the wild. Our interface with the public is our 24/7 phone. The day is broken into several shifts and you would be required to have our phone diverted to yours for a shift a week, a fortnight or month, depending on your availability. You will be working from home and have access to our online database to record calls.

Lifeline Direct are looking for remote volunteers who are good listeners, compassionate, and committed to supporting others within their community so that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.
