The volunteer role involves thoroughly checking clothes, toys, linen and books, cleaning them when needed and packing into gift packs, and thoroughly cleaning larger items such as prams, bassinets, car seats and high chairs.

ACT Wildlife rehabilitates injured, sick and orphaned native animals to return them to the wild. Our interface with the public is our 24/7 phone. The day is broken into several shifts and you would be required to have our phone diverted to yours for a shift a week, a fortnight or month, depending on your availability. You will be working from home and have access to our online database to record calls.
