Everyone is welcome to volunteer at parkrun events. We have heaps of fun, simple and rewarding opportunities to lend a hand for one to two hours on a Saturday morning at parkrun events across Australia. No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like. You become a special person outside the family who supports the child's social and emotional needs with an aim to increase the child's confidence, personal skills and resilience. The Regional Lead is responsible for the Regional Operations Team (ROT) but will be provided with support and assistance from the International Operations Team. The Regional Leads will be invited to participate on the IPT calls on a monthly basis to maintain communications between the IOT and ROT’s. Support from the various IOT teams i.e. volunteer management, marketing and communications will be provided as required. Regional Leads will also be able to access Operations Support.
