As a Local Coordinator, you will provide additional support to a High School Exchange student from overseas who is living with a host family and attending High School in your local community. A Local Coordinator must live within 2 hours of where a student is living. If you are interested in other cultures, young people and families, this role is perfect for you. You may have been an exchange student or host family yourself - but that is not a requirement.

Host Families make a difference in the world! Being a host family means opening your home, hearts and minds to a young person in High School from overseas. Our host families are open-minded, flexible, tolerant and have a sense of humour.
