The role of the Volunteer is to aid the consumer during their journey through the Emergency Department at Canberra Hospital; to ease emotional distress and anxiety experienced by patients, their families, and friends through the provision of practical support under the guidance of Emergency Department staff.

The Roundabout Project is a volunteer peer support project that aims to assist participants with Disability to engage with our LGBTIQA+ community encouraging networking and connections. Provide planning, organisation and administration to support the teaching of Nordic Walking to retirement communities in Canberra. The role acts as an intermediary between retirement villages and staff at Capital Nordic Walking (CNW), who provide information sessions and lessons.
