MCCI is looking for a volunteer to assist the facilitator in the kitchen and with activities in our vibrant Italian group. The Italian group runs every fortnight on a Tuesday in Belconnen.

Seeking volunteers to support Dementia Australia staff and clients in our various social support programs, which are held on weekday mornings. Our social support programs are held every day Monday to Friday and include various opportunities to join groups such as our coffee and chat, gallery/museum groups, craft, woodworking, men’s shed and walking groups around the ACT. Abbeyfield Garran is a not for profit which provides affordable, inclusive, homelike and safe accommodation for people with a mild cognitive disability where residents can maintain their independence with dignity and choice. The Garran house is run by a volunteer management committee and employs a housekeeper to provide meals and support the residents on a day- to-day basis. We have 10 young adult residents.
