Our volunteers are the backbone of our charity and there's a lot of scope for an enthusiastic coordinator to make a difference by increasing our profile in the community and increasing our volunteer base. We welcome innovative, fresh ideas and ways to support the community - how we can promote what we do and ensure that participants who lend a helping hand look forward and enjoy supporting this small local independent charity that does big things. Our Community Outreach volunteers are the front line for the work we do to empower our community to feel comfortable talking and learning about death and dying. Community Outreach Volunteers are often the first introduction a member of the public has to Tender Funerals. As a Community Outreach Volunteer, you'll provide information, encourage discussion and conversation, and answer questions about dying and death care for the public at various events and support the organisation of those events.
