Queensland Maritime Museum is a not for profit organization. The museum attracts more than 40,000 visitors per year including families, school groups, tour groups, inner-state and international visitors. We are looking for the help of enthusiastic gardeners/grounds people to assist with maintaining our grounds and gardens.

The museum is open Wednesday to Friday 10:00am to 4:00pm and Saturday and Sunday 9:30am to 4:00pm. We are close to both bus and train access.

The QMM is presently seeking an administrative support officer to assist Museum management with general clerical work and with day-to-day tasks which may arise.

We are looking for volunteer museum guides who can provide visitors with a warm and friendly welcome and help ensure they have an interesting and engaging visit. As part of the RHSQ mission to promote interest in Queensland history, our volunteers seek to inspire visitors to engage with our past.

We are looking for experienced volunteers to become Volunteer Visitors and regularly visit with lonely elderly people living in an Aged Care homes in the Morningside area.
