BYO Bike and Helmet Essential. Memory Walk & Jogs are a family-friendly, fun-filled morning, supporting Dementia Australia to raise much-needed funds.

The Volunteer Grant Writer position at Picabeen Community Centre offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with the Centre Manager and fellow staff members to secure essential funding for projects and programs that aim to enhance the quality of life for residents in North-West Brisbane.

Volunteers are required to assist with the conduct of Saturday morning competitions at the State Athletic Facility, QSAC, at Nathan in events such as throwing and jumping. Tasks will include recording results during the event, collecting throwing implements, pulling through the tape, raising the bar and raking the sand for jumping events. No experience required.

SchoolKits for Congo seek Student Advocates to invite their own school communities to engage in meaningful and rewarding global giving. Advocates will present the program to decision-makers, show them the positive impact that involvement can have on both givers and receivers, and connect them with the resources necessary to complete the first gift cycle. Advocates may also assist with local publicity for the event. Advocates may be current school students or recent graduates.
