Help facilitate play, activities and distraction for patients, siblings and visitors at the Queensland Children’s Hospital. Join our volunteer team to provide moments of happiness and social connection in the hospital environment!

Approved volunteers agree to provide mentoring and friendship to a young person between the ages of 7 and 17. They commit to spending quality time with a carefully selected young person from a vulnerable or disadvantaged background for approximately 2 hours per fortnight for a period of 12 months. You will not be sitting in an office all day but going out to meet mentees.

We are looking for a volunteer to assist us with editing videos. We are recording webinars on the latest in genetic editing technology, genetic research, speeches at various events and more. We are looking at doing a number of quite short video's (sub 10 minutes) where we will be going deep in a particular area of interest. If you have any graphic design skills that might also be interesting to us on some other projects.
