Provide event first aid services to the community and local organisations

We need a handy person with a green thumb to maintain our facilities here at Gailes Community House. We are a small neighbourhood centre based in an old housing commission house with some lovely hedges and gardens that need some tendering every now and then. The gardens make Gailes Community House a welcoming space. We also have occasional maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures, fixing cupboards, tables etc.

We're on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to help shape Civik's future as founding members of our board. As a vital part of the organisation, you'll actively shape our governance structure, contribute to our organisational impact, and champion our ongoing business strategy. Your diverse experiences and board expertise will be crucial to the realisation of Civik's vision.

This rewarding volunteer role involves maintaining already established gardens including watering, weeding, mulching, hedge trimming, and may also include some small maintenance tasks, depending on the individual needs of the Rehoming Centre.
