We need a handy person with a green thumb to maintain our facilities here at Gailes Community House. We are a small neighbourhood centre based in an old housing commission house with some lovely hedges and gardens that need some tendering every now and then. The gardens make Gailes Community House a welcoming space. We also have occasional maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures, fixing cupboards, tables etc.

The Orangutan Project (TOP) is an international conservation organisation working with partners and running projects in Borneo and Sumatra to save orangutans from extinction, safeguard forests, and support local and indigenous communities. Our Fundraising Volunteers raise much-needed funds for our work through market and festival stalls, as well as fundraising events. We sell them in Australia and return the proceeds to the makers so that they can pay the school fees for their children to be educated. We are looking for stallholders who could add a product to their range, and for representatives who can show buntings to potential retailers and customers.
