Legacy Brisbane supports widows and families of our servicemen and women. We are looking for two passionate, motivated volunteers to phone our older widows to check on well-being and needs in the Contact Centre at South Brisbane. There will also be administrative tasks attached to this role. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will need to be computer literate. You will not be selling, promoting or asking for money, it is purely a curtesy wellbeing call.

We are looking for a small team of volunteers to be the first point of contact for visitors, field telephone enquiries, take messages and bookings and help with set up and support for our activities and groups.

We are a small neighbourhood centre based in an old housing commission house with some lovely hedges and gardens that need some tendering every now and then. The Emergency Relief Food Pantry prepares food parcels for disadvantaged members of the local community. We are looking for someone to assist with the packing and distribution of these food parcels from our Pantry. The Pantry operates on weekdays from 9.00am - 1.00pm. Some moderate lifting will be required.
