The Kokoda Youth Foundation is a dedicated and passionate non-profit organisation committed to running experiential youth programs, which help young people gain physical and mental resilience, confidence, and instill in them the values of Courage, Endurance, Mateship and Sacrifice through the story of the Kokoda Campaign in 1942. The Kokoda Challenge is a signature event that embodies these values and is the main fundrasing avenue for the Kokoda Youth Foundation.

PCYC Queensland is calling for motivated and reliable volunteers to support in the “Drop-In” and "After Dark" program. The role of the Drop-In Support Volunteer is to support PCYC with the execution of PCYC’s diversionary “Drop In” and "After Dark" program which supports youth participation through physical engagement in a safe and positive environment. This role focusses on supporting the PCYC staff with program and activity preparations, general engagements, and pack down of activity.
for parkrun - Recreation
Everyone is welcome to volunteer at parkrun events. We have heaps of fun, simple and rewarding opportunities to lend a hand for one to two hours on a Saturday morning at parkrun events across Australia. No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like. You can volunteer as a marshal, timekeeper, photographer or try your hand at scanning barcodes and handing out tokens…..to name a few of the roles we have available.

Do you want to make a difference? Do you enjoy interacting with older people and getting to know them through friendly chats? We are looking for experienced volunteers to become Volunteer Visitors and regularly visit with lonely elderly people living in an Aged Care homes in the Morningside area. All you have to do is be a friend. If you have 1 hour to spare each fortnight, please get in touch to find out more!
