We are seeking a Sewing Volunteer who can assist with minor clothing repairs of resident’s clothing, including replacing buttons, adjusting hems and minor mending and clothing modifications. The volunteer is encouraged to invite residents to participate and/or be a part of the activity in whichever way they chose, to foster a sense of dignity and personal satisfaction.

As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you will provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for older people living with dementia in a residential care home.
