We welcome a range of musical styles, from classical, jazz, country, rock'n'roll and popular hits from the 1930's onwards. As you volunteer sing, play and perform, you'll be providing a great live music experience for elderly people living at HammondCare in Daw Park.

Modbury Hospital Guide Volunteers are based at the Hospital's main entrance and assist patients and visitors with directions to their destination. Guide Volunteers position suit someone who is interested in interacting with the public, able to deal with occasional stressful situations, and physically fit enough to stand and walk much of the shift. A Guide can be rostered Mon – Fri and shifts can vary from 4 hours to a full day. Training and induction are provided.

Music in Health program provides entertainment and relaxation for the patients, visitors and staff of the Lyell McEwin Hospital (LMH) by offering a calming and engaging environment through music. The performances aim is to positively enhance the hospital’s atmosphere, environment and experience and embrace the cultural diversity of our community encouraging everyone to pause, listen and enjoy the music.

The Lyell McEwin Hospital serves a community of people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Some people may find the hospital difficult to navigate finding the ward or service they need. Guides are often the first face a visitor sees when entering the hospital and have the important role of greeting patients and visitors as they arrive.

Volunteers in this role provide support and guidance to the visitors and staff of the Modbury Hospital Outpatients Department by greeting patients on arrival and directing patients to the required area.

The Children's and Women's Health Wards are looking for friendly volunteers to help look after children and babies as well as assist parents. This is a multi-tasking role over 2 wards, dependant on where the need is.

Riding for the Disabled SA provides horse riding & related activities for people with a disability aged between three and ninety years! RDASA is seeking volunteers to assist with 'Session Support'.

Cleaner required for small sport group. Duties will include cleaning of the toilets, and mopping of the floor in the canteen and hall. The hall and sports club is used once a week. This right person will have the flexibility to undertake the cleaning around a time that works for them. We only require it ready for Sundays when the club is open.
