The Library Reception Desk Volunteer is the friendly and welcoming face of Genealogy SA. They provide guidance to members, visitors and those who call us to use the Society’s family history information resources. In this role, volunteers will find themselves assisting a variety of people with their genealogical research, providing them with a great opportunity for growth in their own learning.

Share your love of music with our residents at Weekly Concerts and Special Events. We welcome a range of musical styles, from classical, jazz, country, rock'n'roll and popular hits from the 1930's onwards. As you volunteer sing, play and perform, you'll be providing a great live music experience for elderly people living at HammondCare in Daw Park.

The Children's and Women's Health Wards are looking for friendly volunteers to help look after children and babies as well as assist parents. This is a multi-tasking role over 2 wards, dependant on where the need is.

Spend time with an elderly lady living in a residential aged care home in Daw Park. You'll help provide companionship as well as maintain their healthy wellbeing as part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme.

Bring the gift of music to older people living in Ingle Farm

Our reservoir reserves are home to beautiful landscapes and unique flora and fauna. Join a group of like-minded people and help nurture these special places. You'll be actively involved in caring for your local reservoir reserve and enhancing the experience for visitors. Activities include bushcare, revegetation, habitat improvement, biodiversity surveys (e.g. birds, frogs, plants, tree hollows), fish stocking and supporting community events.

The musician volunteer is responsible for bringing their musical talent to perform and bring the joy of music to the residents enabling residents to enjoy favourite tunes and songs and reminisce through the power of music.
