As volunteer Grants Officer, you will manage the Fauna Rescue Grand Program as well as identify and secure new grants and manage through to completion.

The Branch Leader Safeguarding supports in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all members. This volunteer position is essential to maintaining a secure and supportive environment where youth members can thrive and develop. This role serves as the first point of contact for membership to seek assistance with safeguarding, and collaborates on projects to promote safeguarding across the association.

The Assistant Chief Commissioner (ACC) Group Support drives the strategic initiatives related to Group Support within the Branch. This includes leader development, supporting retention and recruitment initiatives for both youth and adult members, and ensuring the provision of an optimal “Group Life” experience.

The Branch Commissioner Inclusion is responsible for providing advice and support to Leaders and Unit Councils. This support could include strategies and programs to assist members to use inclusive practice in their everyday Scouting and maximise the integration of members from historically marginalised groups in the Scouting program at all levels.

As Deputy Assistant Chief Commissioner Program Support your role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of the program to youth members. You’ll be helping to ensure the ongoing delivery, consistent improvement, and implementation of the Youth Program across the state, upholding program values, fostering positive experiences, and contributing to the personal growth of our young members.

The Policy Writer is member of the SOWFI Governance and Policy Sub-Committee. The position works together with the Sub-Committee and the Board Secretary to support the preparation of both internal and public facing documents, including organisational policies, public facing position statements, responses to government inquiries, and other documents which advocate for the conservation, rescue and rehabilitation of native wildlife in line with SOWFI’s objectives.
