The BRIGHT Walk 2024 takes place on Saturday 6 July from 4pm–9pm. 2500 people will walk through the CBD and North Adelaide, raising money for medical research at SAHMRI through sponsorships from friends and family.

Modbury Hospital Guide Volunteers are based at the Hospital's main entrance and assist patients and visitors with directions to their destination. Guide Volunteers position suit someone who is interested in interacting with the public, able to deal with occasional stressful situations, and physically fit enough to stand and walk much of the shift. Volunteers in this role provide support and guidance to the visitors and staff of the Modbury Hospital Outpatients Department by greeting patients on arrival and directing patients to the required area.
