Join us at the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre as an Inpatient Support Volunteer, you will get the opportunity to assist with inpatients with a variety of tasks, bring comfort to those who need it most, and meet new people. Join our team of dedicated volunteers providing holistic support to our patients and families who are spending time in our hospital.

The Emergency Relief (ER) Volunteer assists clients who are experiencing financial hardship through the provision of food parcels, food voucher, petrol voucher and PBS (chemist) prescriptions. The ER Volunteer is required to meet with clients through scheduled appointments, which are held weekly from Monday – Thursday. Administrative tasks such as filing paperwork and tidying up of ER room may also be undertaken by the ER volunteer when not meeting with clients.

Our Wayville home team are calling out for some support. If you are keen to assist with some maintenance tasks we would love to hear from you. We would be happy with one shift a week or two, hours can vary depending on your availability and choice of tasks you're willing to do. Its a very comfortable atmosphere and the guys are fun and inclusive.

The group is a safe space for to help participants to share their experiences of living with chronic pain, promoting self-management techniques, reducing isolation and assisting with health system navigation.
