They provide guidance to members, visitors and those who call us to use the Society’s family history information resources. Some of our elders at our Wayville home really wish to re-ignite their passion for music and in particular being part of a weekly choir. Do you have a few spare hours to visit once a week and get a choir group running enjoying the love of music?

Residents living at our Aged Care homes like to continue to connect with others and take part in some active walking with a supportive companion. We encourage our elderly residents to stay active and get out in the gardens and Aged Care Home grounds. Do you have some spare time to share and support our resident to connect and stay active? All volunteers must have the annual Influenza vaccination, the triple Covid-19 vaccinations and a Police clearance to work with vulnerable persons.

Do you enjoy pottering enjoying gardens and assisting in simple maintenance jobs, if that sounds like you I would love to hear from you. Our Hendon home would love you support for 1 or more days a week. This role is flexible and would love to have support assisting the beauty of the gardens. There is also opportunity to work with residents in easy gardening pottering in garden beds, and growing some herbs and flowers as the seasons change.
