We're looking for volunteers who speak Italian to spend time with older people at an aged care home. Many seniors there feel lonely because of language and cultural differences. Your company and conversation could really make their day better! Come join us in making a positive impact together.

Did you know that being a volunteer with the Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) is a way to meet other local community members, have a say in things that affect you, deliver some newsletters and prevent crime? Perhaps this sounds good but you would really prefer a remote type volunteer role instead. That's okay, NHW has got you covered! There are two types of volunteer roles available within the NHW: * a Supporter or * in Police Programs

Transport Volunteers support prisoners and offenders in the community by transporting them to: * medical appointments * job interviews & job network agencies appointments * rehabilitation programs * supervision appointments * housing appointments * plus many other areas of support unique to individual offenders.

The Open Support Community Companion Program offers one to one phone calls to people experiencing social isolation and/or loneliness. This volunteer role offers companionship and social support based on the Open Support values of Compassion, Dignity, Excellence, Justice and Unity.
