Their team performs a range of general maintenance tasks, performs routine inspections of premises and equipment. Working with tools and basic light machinery performing preventative maintenance, handling basic repairs, prepare walls and other surfaces for painting etc.

Modbury Hospital Guide Volunteers are based at the Hospital's main entrance and assist patients and visitors with directions to their destination. Guide Volunteers position suit someone who is interested in interacting with the public, able to deal with occasional stressful situations, and physically fit enough to stand and walk much of the shift. A Guide can be rostered Mon – Fri and shifts can vary from 4 hours to a full day. Training and induction are provided.

Music in Health program provides entertainment and relaxation for the patients, visitors and staff of the Lyell McEwin Hospital (LMH) by offering a calming and engaging environment through music. The performances aim is to positively enhance the hospital’s atmosphere, environment and experience and embrace the cultural diversity of our community encouraging everyone to pause, listen and enjoy the music.

The Lyell McEwin Hospital serves a community of people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Some people may find the hospital difficult to navigate finding the ward or service they need. Guides are often the first face a visitor sees when entering the hospital and have the important role of greeting patients and visitors as they arrive.

Volunteers in this role provide support and guidance to the visitors and staff of the Modbury Hospital Outpatients Department by greeting patients on arrival and directing patients to the required area.

The Children's and Women's Health Wards are looking for friendly volunteers to help look after children and babies as well as assist parents. This is a multi-tasking role over 2 wards, dependant on where the need is.

We are looking for van drivers and people to attend site visits to distribute the clothing. Our Hendon home would love you support for 1 or more days a week. This role is flexible and would love to have support assisting the beauty of the gardens. There is also opportunity to work with residents in easy gardening pottering in garden beds, and growing some herbs and flowers as the seasons change.

Emu Community Children's Centre are looking for someone who can care for the outside environments of the childcare centre and assist with handy jobs around the centre.

We are seeking people who can speak Croatian to provide support and companionship to residents at our Seaton Aged Care home.

The gardening program support volunteer will collaborate with the leisure and lifestyle team and volunteer gardening program to assist in the delivery of gardening programs and linked activities which are designed to maintain and enhance the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents based on their individual needs, interests and cultural backgrounds.
