The gardening program support volunteer will collaborate with the leisure and lifestyle team and volunteer gardening program to assist in the delivery of gardening programs and linked activities which are designed to maintain and enhance the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents based on their individual needs, interests and cultural backgrounds.

Would you like to assist adult literacy & English Language students on a 1:1 basis under guidance of a supervisor? The role would involve working with clients from non English backgrounds & other individuals requiring literacy assistance. As you would appreciate, to become an Adult Literacy Tutor Volunteer - you will need to meet certain criteria as you are helping others learn If you have the ability, willingness & confidence to work with a range of people, they would love to hear from you!

Eldercare aged care home at Woodcroft is seeking maintenance gardening support volunteer who can commit to a weekly shift with our team.

Do you have qualifications or experience in maintenance or handy skills and have some spare time to join our team? General handy-person jobs include small painting jobs, hanging pictures, changing light globes, fixing equipment, freshening up rooms for new residents and more. Pottering in the large gardens and courtyards. All volunteers must have the annual Influenza vaccinations, triple Covid-19 vaccinations and a Police clearance to work vulnerable persons.

The musician volunteer is responsible for bringing their musical talent to perform and bring the joy of music to the residents enabling residents to enjoy favourite tunes and songs and reminisce through the power of music.

The assistant should ensure children attending the playgroup have the best start in life by providing a safe, welcoming, high quality, inclusive early education environment. He/she will support the playgroup leader in the day to day overseeing of the playgroup, providing a stimulating and varied programmes of play and ensuring the social development of the children at Puddle Jumpers.
