Are you someone who enjoys being outdoors and has knowledge of basic gardening and an interest in planting out raised garden beds in line with customers preferences? We are looking for volunteers to join our Community Garden Project.

Our choirs are all about coming together and sharing the feeling of what it is like making music together – it is a feeling of joy and elation! ACH Group is seeking two new volunteers to assist with the Sing for Joy Choir, based in Glenelg.

Do you have some time to work with some residents who love gardening and work alongside our elders supporting their passion.

Do you have an interest in gardening? Our aged care home at Hendon has a central outdoor courtyard which needs some weekly TLC. This role is a role where you can choose your days and times to be able to attend and with the use of our gardening equipment potter and nurture the courtyard for our residents and families to enjoy.

Our residents living at our aged care homes like to continue to connect with others and take part in creative activities such as art and drawing, craft activities and playing games. Do you have some spare time to share and support our residents to connect and stay active? Mandatory annual Influenza vaccination and triple vaccination for Covid required for all aged care staff and volunteers.

Some of our elders at our Wayville home really wish to re-ignite their passion for music and in particular being part of a weekly choir. Do you have a few spare hours to visit once a week and get a choir group running enjoying the love of music?

Do you enjoy pottering enjoying gardens and assisting in simple maintenance jobs, if that sounds like you I would love to hear from you. Our Hendon home would love you support for 1 or more days a week. This role is flexible and would love to have support assisting the beauty of the gardens. There is also opportunity to work with residents in easy gardening pottering in garden beds, and growing some herbs and flowers as the seasons change.

Our Eldercare residents living at Hope Valley Aged Care Homes like to connect with others and engage in activities to keep their minds stimulated and active. Interactive activities such as playing games, board games, checkers, backgammon, chess and more. Do you have some spare time to share and support our resident to connect and stay active?

Eldercare aged care home at Woodcroft is seeking maintenance gardening support volunteer who can commit to a weekly shift with our team.

ECH is looking for volunteers to assist in ECH Day Programs designed to cater for people who may be experiencing dementia or memory loss. ECH has Day Programs at Smithfield, Henley Beach, Happy Valley and Walkerville each offering a range of activities such as gardening, arts and craft, billiards, cooking, music, dancing and gentle exercise programs.

Do you have qualifications or experience in maintenance or handy skills and have some spare time to join our team? General handy-person jobs include small painting jobs, hanging pictures, changing light globes, fixing equipment, freshening up rooms for new residents and more. Pottering in the large gardens and courtyards. All volunteers must have the annual Influenza vaccinations, triple Covid-19 vaccinations and a Police clearance to work vulnerable persons.

The Leisure and Lifestyle support volunteer will collaborate with the Leisure and Lifestyle Team to assist in the delivery of programs and activities which are designed to maintain and enhance the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents based on their individual needs, interests and cultural backgrounds.

The musician volunteer is responsible for bringing their musical talent to perform and bring the joy of music to the residents enabling residents to enjoy favourite tunes and songs and reminisce through the power of music.

The men’s social group and companion volunteer will collaborate with the Leisure and Lifestyle Team to assist in the delivery of programs and activities which are designed to target the male residents including social groups and one-to-one support and companionship to maintain and enhance the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents based on their individual needs, interests and cultural backgrounds.
