All volunteers must have up to date Influenza vaccinations, the Covid-19 vaccinations and a Police clearance to work in Aged Care.

ECH is looking for some 2 legged (human) volunteers to assist in their Day Programs together with their good natured and well trained pets to visit clients. ECH Day Programs are designed to cater for people who may be experiencing dementia or memory loss to engage in a range of social activities. This dynamic team install wildlife and possum boxes for our Wildlife Carers. The boxes in which we release our wildlife / possums are made of 19mm pine to provide the best insulation during our hotter summers but are therefore 6.5kg plus wildlife weight (up to 2kg). Ladders and harnesses are used to ensure safety for our installation team and training in best practice WH&S is also provided.
