The BRIGHT Walk 2024 takes place on Saturday 6 July from 4pm–9pm. 2500 people will walk through the CBD and North Adelaide, raising money for medical research at SAHMRI through sponsorships from friends and family.

The Volunteer Service for the Flinders Medical Centre operates a very popular BBQ services located at the Courtyard on Level 2 at Flinders Medical Centre. The volunteers need a fit able-bodied person that would be willing to assist them in the clean up at the end of the day. Shift requirement is: Wednesday to Friday 1 pm - 3 pm. EMS Snorkel Guides volunteer at weekend community snorkels or weekday school snorkels, starting as a trainee snorkel guide assistant, helping the lead snorkel guide in the water with small groups. Free accredited training in 'Lead Snorkel Activities' is available for volunteers who wish to gain more experience and become a Lead Snorkel Guide. Snorkels take place at various locations along the Adelaide coast as well as regional areas in SA.
