Do you have a beautiful friendly dog and some time to commit once a fortnight on a Thursday? The Community Visitor Pooch group is a small group who go to the Nursing Home with their dogs to visit with the residents.
If you have younger children and your extended family do not live locally, then this one could be for you! Esperance Home Care is looking to welcome parents with young children to an inter-generational playgroup that is held at our local Nursing Home. The group meets every other Thursday at 1:30pm and the session lasts for about an hour.
Spend the day with clients, assisting the staff member in all areas and be a part of the weekly activities the group get involved in. Volunteers are needed from 9am to 3pm each Friday.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day - some say. Nulsen Primary School welcomes assistance with their Breakfast club which runs daily prior to school. Volunteers prepare breakfast, help serve and chat to the attendees. Looking for some quick volunteering to start off your day?

The High School has a breakfast club running on a Friday and Monday mornings to assist students with a healthy start to the day. Helpers are needed for anytime between about 6.30am and 9 for as long as you are able to give.

Esperance Homecare has a team of drivers who assist others in our community who are unable to get about independently. These drivers help by driving people to medical appointments or similar. It is a great way to have contact with others in the community and assist them in the process. If you like meeting and helping people this is just the role for you.
An Esperance Meals On Wheels (MOW) kitchen hand is needed to assist the MOW Supervisor to prepare food for deliveries. Meals are prepared Mon - Fri with volunteers committing to one morning per week as part of a set roster, however volunteers can opt to do more than one morning if they would like. If you are looking to become part of a vital team within the community this is the position for you.

Home Care is seeking four volunteers to come permanently on board to assist staff in facilitating their Saturday Social Club program. The group visits a different venue in the Esperance District each fortnight for lunch, with volunteer meals being paid for by Home Care. Required commitment is 5 hours, one Saturday per month.
