Help older people with their goals around staying independent, healthy and connected to their community.

If you have great customer service skills, join our Emergency Relief team to assist delivery of services to consumers. Our refurbished Centre assists vulnerable members of the community by providing food, showers, clothes washing, material and financial aid support.

Have you ever been moved after hearing someone tell you about their experience? If you have been: • injured or had a family member/friend injured or die • first on the scene at a serious road incident • a witness to a road incident • a driver involved in a serious road incident • an emergency service worker attending a road incident Your story could save a life.

Everyone is welcome to volunteer at parkrun events. We have heaps of fun, simple and rewarding opportunities to lend a hand for one to two hours on a Saturday morning at parkrun events across Australia. No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like. You can volunteer as a marshal, timekeeper, photographer or try your hand at scanning barcodes and handing out tokens…..to name a few of the roles we have available.

We require passionate & friendly volunteers to help The Salvos raise much needed funds. Community fundraising at shopping centres involves collecting donations while sitting at one place, you may be required to use an Eftpos machine. Intersection collecting involves engaging with motorists at intersections encouraging them to donate, you must have some level of fitness as there is lots of walking involved.
