Tomaree Accommodation Service Inc.

TAS was formed over 20 years ago by people concerned by the lack of available accommodation for adults with disabilities. Funding became available through the closure of a school at Anna Bay and a Committee was formed to purchase a suitable block of land . Subsequently a partnership was formed with the NSW Department of Housing to erect a purpose-built house on the site at Salamander Bay.

TAS also runs the -TAS Socials. This gives an opportunity for people with disabilities to socialise in an inclusive community setting. We provide a 2 course meal as well as entertainment. People are brought together where friendships and bonds are formed.
