About Your Aged Care at Home Ltd
Your Aged Care at Home is a registered charity and public benevolent institution as well as an approved provider of the Home Care Packages Program. We are subsidised through the Department of Health to deliver Home Care Packages in the Inner West and South West Sydney Regions.
Your Aged Care at Home believes that elderly people have the right to choose to remain living in their own homes, for as long as possible, supported by a range of integrated and flexible services.
The service provided will promote the person’s independence and dignity and will contribute to his/her physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and social well-being.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Your Aged Care at Home promotes the right of clients to:
Have access to information to assist in making informed choices about available home support services
Receive quality services to meet their assessed needs
Participate in developing flexible plans for their own care needs
Exercise their own level of independence and be supported in enhancing this independence
Dignity, respect, privacy and confidentiality
Be valued as individuals with sensitivity to individual needs, especially in relation to gender, cultural and socio-economic factors
Receive fair and effective procedures for dealing with complaints and disputes
Have access to an advocate of their choice
