About Buderim Wanderers Football Club

Buderim Wanderers Football Club has a long history of providing opportunity for all players to improve their football ability and enjoy playing the game. Our vision for Football is to provide a pathway for young players to progress from MiniRoos through to our Premier program.

Buderim Wanderers has been awarded Club of the Year in both 2013 and 2014. Our Club is committed to the development of our players, coaches and volunteers. We also support and implement FFA’s National Curriculum. The intention is to develop strong relationships with our catchment schools and community to encourage a cohesive development pathway for aspiring players and coaches.

Buderim Wanderers is a hugely successful football club with strong ties to the local community and a strong sense of family values. Based in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, it is the oldest and largest club on the coast and draws players and their families from throughout the wider Sunshine Coast region. The club formed in 1972 and moved to its home on Ballinger Park in 1980. In recent times the fields have undergone a significant upgrade to mitigate against the frequent flooding that plagued the area over many years. Further upgrades to the club’s facilities are planned over the coming year.
