About Cat Defence Network Inc.

Cat Defence is a small group of unpaid volunteers working in Sydney and the Blue Mountains. We do not have an office or paid staff. Some of us are working full-time and do what we can in our spare time, while others of us are retired but continuing (into our 70's) to continue trapping and desexing, to improve the life of animals in our community and reduce the numbers of stray and unwanted cats.

Cat Defence's main work is centred around desexing homeless cats and kittens as well as those cats and kittens owned by the underprivileged in our society. We also do our best to find homes for these animals where we can.

We run a small shop in Katoomba and do stalls when and where we can to raise funds, as well as distributing bi-monthly newsletters.
