The Global Foundation

The Global Foundation is a non-profit organisation, representing an influential global network of citizens who are committed to making a difference in contributing to a sustainable future. The Global Foundation exists to facilitate engagement and dialogue amongst the community to encourage mutual understanding, harmony, goodwill and fraternity in the interests of long term sustainable development and positive international engagement. In doing so, the Foundation’s forums support governments, industries, institutions and others to create the future. The Global Foundation has become a highly respected forum across the globe for bringing a whole-of-community, whole-of-world approach to major issues. In less than two decades, it has evolved to play an important and trusted role in global affairs; working in partnership with many global, regional and national structures and processes, and with a distinctly Australian character. It operates with the ethos that the big and difficult issues are much more likely to be resolved in everyone’s best interests if people have the chance to come together on neutral territory to speak freely, take the time to explore and better understand others’ perspectives, challenge concepts and ideas to contribute to the future - and importantly - learn from each other.
