About HorsePower Australia
HorsePower Australia is a registered voluntary, charitable not for profit organisation that provides people with disabilities, emotional and social challenges opportunities that empower them to break through physical, cognitive and emotional barriers utilising the power of the horse to develop their abilities and enrich their lives.
Our 13 member Centres provide a variety of equine facilitated programs including riding, carriage driving, vaulting, Hippotherapy and walking with horses to over 400 people on a weekly basis.
Volunteers are integral to our program and we would not be able to operate without our wonderful team! There are a wide range of opportunities to volunteer with HorsePower Australia, whether you prefer to be with horses, children, in the office or even helping us to bring in much needed funds. Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, make new friends, improve your physical fitness or mental health and make a difference in your local community.
