Albany Community Hospice

Albany Community Hospice is an 8-bed in-patient specialist palliative care facility where patients can receive support and symptom management in a home-like environment. Our focus is on the patient and enabling them to live as well as possible until death. This includes their physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual wellbeing as well as supporting their family or significant others.

Volunteers are a treasured and dedicated part of the care team. They donate their time, effort and love to provide support and companionship to our patients and families. They assist in all areas of operation including being on the board of management and committees, clerical work, reception, catering support, gardening and flower arranging, fund raising, patient and carer support.
